Badminton Update



The long drawn out Badminton competition that started many moons ago and that has seen some great players fall by the wayside has nearly reached its conclusion. We now have our 4 finalists. Scott davies and Mick Gorman will play the red hot favourites Barry Robbins and John Dudley.

young people with disabilities across the UK with much needed equipment to make their lives a little easier.

           AUSCHWITZ SIGN GOES MISSING

As you may or may not be aware, the sign above the gates at Auschwitz was stolen!!!! I had a phone call from the Polish authorities asking if we had seen anything whilst we were there? I trawled through the photos that were taken and I'm sad to report that one of our tourists may have had something to do with the unsavoury incident.

Friday Night Training: Droitwich High School - Arrive 6.45 for a 7.00 Start.

All,

The training on Friday nights is there for you all to use, Wally does a great job ensuring the training is arranged and all the facilities needed are provided. All you have to do is turn up!! And looking at the results the gym should be packed. The week before last there were only about 8-10 people. Last week it was cancelled because some of those couldn't turn up due to other commitments. Help yourself, be fit and ready when selected. Get yourselves to training.

By popular demand, the Vets trio of John Cole, Dave Price and Pete Evans are
returning to Aston Fields Working Men's Club in Bromsgrove on 16 October
from 730 pm to run a GENERAL KNOWLEDGE QUIZ in aid of Leukaemia Research.Teams of 4 are required and cost £ 6 per head, including food. Bar isobviously available.Please contact either Dave, John or Peter, if you're interested insupporting this good cause whilst hopefully having some mental stimulationand fun.
