Golf Competition results

The first Droitwich Veterans Golf Day was held on 16th September at Gaudet Luce Golf Club. A superb day was had by all in nice weather, with some very good golf played, unless you were the organiser!! The stress of organising the day must have took it's toll as he didn't play to his usual standard.

The eventual winner of the match was Maurice 'the gringo bandit' Murphy with a staggering stableford points haul of 45pts. second was Brian 'Dodgy Handicap' Imrie with 36 pts and 3rd was Dave Price with 35pts. The Longest Drive award went to a guest on the day Rob Gorman and the Nearest the Pin was won by Brian Imrie.

Thanks to all those who attended, I hope you had a good day and spread the word. hopefully the next game will be even better.
